The backstory

What is the you can make it cap meme?

It comes from a “20 vs 1” video, the format where one guest meets twenty people one at a time against a white wall. One person grins and bites a finger, the other walks in, turns around and smiles back, and someone says the line everybody now quotes as “Oh you can make it cap”. Listen closely and the last word sounds more like “clap”, which is why people search both, and why “can you make it cap” turns up too. A repost from July 2024 was already captioned “Can you make it clap?”.

On October 21, 2026 a wrestling fan account, tbooogss, posted its own version, and its audio, “original sound – tbooogss”, became the sound of the you can make it cap trend. From October 23 CapCut template posts followed in batches, with captions such as “AI remake of the 20vs1 scene”, and several passed a million plays within days.

Those templates rebuild the scene with AI. This you can make it cap maker works the other way around: it keeps the real 20vs1 clip and edits your people into it, so the backdrop, the timing and the sound are the ones from the original.
